It is not our company's intention to violate copyright laws in any way. We do not claim the rights to any trademarked character. Our characters are unique to our company by way of name, costume, and appearance.

1. How far in advance should I book my party?

We recommend booking as soon as possible; we often get booked months in advance.

2. How do I book a party?

If you have any questions before booking your event, please contact us and we will be happy to help. Once you have decided to book your event, please fill out our booking form on this website: Once we receive that, we will send you a confirmation email within 24 hours that will include instructions on how to pay your deposit.

3. How does payment work?

 A 50% deposit is due within 48 hours of booking. You may pay this via PayPal or by Mailing a Check. The remaining balance will be due in Cash on the day of the event. The performer will collect this from you at the end of the party.

4. Should I tip my performer?

Tipping is never required, however it is always appreciated! Keep in mind that the majority of your party cost does not go to the performer; most of it goes back into the company in order to provide premiere entertainment for you and our other valued clients. If you feel that your performer did a wonderful job, a tip is always welcomed. 

5. Why aren't all price quotes the same?

Price quotes may differ based on a variety of factors including travel fees, the number of guests at your event, or any add-ons you may request for your party.  

CANCELLATIONS: Because our performer will be officially booked out during the block of time you have requested, therefore unavailable for other parties, the 50% deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

RESCHEDULING: If you need to reschedule your party, you must let us know 48 hours in advance (unless there is an extreme emergency). If you do not do so, the 50% deposit will be non-refundable. We are always happy to reschedule, however this will depend on the performer's availability.

WEATHER POLICY: In the event of inclement weather and the event is cancelled permanently by the client, we do require a 25% cancellation fee. If the event is rescheduled or postponed, we will accommodate as best we can, but this will depend on the performer's availability. 

* In the unlikely event that Carolina Characters must cancel due to dangerous weather conditions or extreme emergency, you will be fully refunded.

1. Do you do events or parties outside? 

Our characters are available for outside parties or events, pending extreme weather temperatures and depending on the facility set up. We do not do outdoor parties or events when temperatures are above 70 degrees or below 40 degrees, due to maintaining the safety of our performers. We do have certain characters (those with bulkier costumes), that can only stay outside for up to 30 minutes. In addition, if you decide to have a party outside, you must provide an area that is not muddy or dirty that could ruin the costumes and shoes. 

2. I don't see the character I want on your website, do you offer any others besides the ones listed here?

Absolutely! We offer several (less-requested) characters that are not listed on our website, and we are always happy to accommodate. Just contact us to let us know what you are looking for and we will let you know if your character is available!
